Το ματς κόντρα στη Μπέρνλι ήταν ιδιαίτερο για την Λέστερ καθώς ήταν το πρώτο της στο "King Power Stadium" μετά τον τραγικό χαμό του ιδιοκτήτη της και χιλιάδες οπαδοί της τον αποχαιρέτησαν με έναν συγκλονιστικό τρόπο (PHOTOS).
Αυτό φάνηκε και το απόγευμα του Σαββάτου (10/11), καθώς παρότι έχουν περάσει δύο εβδομάδες από τον θάνατο του 60χρονου Ταϊλανδού κροίσοι, δεκάδες χιλιάδες κόσμου βγήκαν στους δρόμους της πόλης για να του πουν το τελευταίο αντίο.
Αυτό το έκαναν μέσω μίας διαδρομής δύο μιλίων που διέσχισαν με τα πόδια για να βρεθούν έξω από το γήπεδο της ομάδας, στο πλαίσιο του αγώνα πρωταθλήματος με την Μπέρνλι (πρώτου στο σπίτι της Λέστερ μετά το θάνατό του), με τους οπαδούς να καταθέτουν λουλούδια προς τιμήν του.
"Αυτό είναι για σένα κύριε πρόεδρε, η πόλη του Λέστερ σε αγαπάει πολύ περισσότερο απ'ότι πίστευες" και "Σήμερα αυτή η πόλη είναι ενωμένη", είναι δύο χαρακτηριστικά πανό που έκαναν την εμφάνισή τους κατά τη διάρκεια της πορείας, με τις τιμές προς τον Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha να συνεχίζονται και εντός γηπέδου.
Όλοι οι παίκτες του Κλοντ Πιελ βγήκαν για προθέρμανση φορώντας μαύρα μπλουζάκια με το πρόσωπο του νεκρού ιδιοκτήτη (που έγραφαν "Το αφεντικό"), ενώ ακολούθησαν, λίγο πριν τη πρώτη σέντρα, δύο λεπτά σιγής στη μνήμη των θυμάτων της τραγωδίας με το ελικόπτερο, με τους οπαδούς να σχηματίζουν μία θάλασσα από άσπρα και μπλε κασκόλ στις εξέδρες.
Μεταξύ των ανθρώπων που βρέθηκαν στο γήπεδο για να πουν το τελευταίο αντίο στον άνθρωπο που οραματίστηκε τη μεγάλη Λέστερ και πρόλαβε να ζήσει για να τη δει πρωταθλήτρια το 2016, ήταν ο Κλάουντιο Ρανιέρι, ο προπονητής με τον οποίο οι "αλεπούδες" πανηγύρισαν πριν δύο χρόνια τον τίτλο της Premier League, πρώτο στην ιστορία του συλλόγου.
