88ο Μουσικό Ταξίδι – Με τα R&B (15-10-2016)
Το ογδοηκοστό όγδοο μουσικό ταξίδι με τα rhythm & blues
Σε αυτό το μουσικό ταξίδι κάναμε ένα μεγάλο αφιέρωμα στο rhythm & blues, το μουσικό κίνημα που δημιούργησαν οι μαύροι καλλιτέχνες όταν αποφάσισαν να βάλουν ρυθμό στα “μονότονα” μπλουζ, προσθέτοντας μπάσο, τύμπανα, πνευστά και πλήκτρα. Παρακολουθήσαμε την πορεία του r&b από το ξεκίνημά του στο τέλος της δεκαετίας του ’40, μέχρι και την πλήρη ακμή του στα 50s και 60s. Μεγάλες μορφές, όπως οι Ρέι Τσαρλς, Σαμ Κουκ, Φατς Ντόμινο, Ότις Ρέντινγκ, Αρίθα Φράνκλιν, Ρουθ Μπράουν, Μπο Ντίντλεϊ, Τσακ Μπέρι, Ντρίφτερς, Κόστερς και πολλοί άλλοι σε μια μουσική παρέλαση τρεισήμισι ωρών!
Ξεκινήσαμε με τον Ρέι Τσαρλς και το ξεσηκωτικό What’d I say και κλείσαμε με τον Ότις Ρέντινγκ και το βελούδινο (Sittin’ on) The dock of the bay. Ακολουθούν τα 64 τραγούδια της λίστας και στη συνέχεια ολόκληρη η εκπομπή.
