Οι Γάλλοι διεθνείς επέστρεψαν στο Παρίσι μετά την κατάκτηση του αργυρού μεταλλίου στο Ευρωμπάσκετ και θέλησαν να ενημερώσουν όσους δεν το ήξεραν ήδη, ότι προκρίθηκαν στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες το 2012.
Η παρέα του Τόνι Πάρκερ έδωσε το στίγμα της στην πόλη και πως το έκανε αυτό; Επισκέφθηκε το πελώριο άγαλμα του Τσόρτσιλ στο Παρίσι, μετά την επιστροφή τους από τη Λιθουανία.
Δεν γνωρίζουμε ποιος είχε την ιδέα, όμως παίκτες του Βενσάν Κολέ ζήτησαν μία πελώρια φανέλα του Τόνι Πάρκερ την οποία και φόρεσαν στο άγαλμα του Τσόρτσιλ που δεσπόζει δίπλα στο Petit Palais. Η παρουσία όλων των μεγάλων αστέρων κινητοποίησε τον κόσμο που μαζεύτηκε εκεί και δεν έχασε ευκαιρία να βγάλει φωτογραφίες με τους “τρικολόρ”.
Με αυτό τον τρόπο, οι “τρικολόρ” έκαναν αισθητή την επιστροφή τους στη χώρα τους και ενημέρωσαν όλους όσοι δεν το ήξερα, πως του χρόνου θα βρίσκονται στο Λονδίνο για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες.
