Απλά αυτοκαταστροφικός ο Ντέιβιντ Ναλμπάντιαν στον τελικό του AEGON Championships.
Ενώ είχε το προβάδισμα απέναντι στον Μάριν Τσίλιτς με 1-0 σετ (7-6), εκνευρίστηκε κατά τη διάρκεια του δεύτερου σετ και αποβλήθηκε, την ώρα που ήταν ισόπαλος 3-3.
Και ο λόγος που Αργεντίνος τενίστας, Νο 39 στον κόσμο, δεν συνέχισε στον τελικό; Πάνω στα νεύρα το θέλησε να εκτονωθεί δίνοντας μια κλωτσιά.
Μόνο που εκεί που διάλεξε να εκτονωθεί, βρισκόταν ένας από τους κριτές ο οποίος αποκόμισε από τη κλωτσιά ένα ελαφρύ διάστρεμμα!
Κάπως έτσι ο Κροάτης Τσίλιτς κατέκτησε στο Λονδίνο το AEGON Championships!
“Λυπάμαι πάρα πολύ. Κάποιες φορές είσαι τόσο απογοητευμένος μέσα στο κορτ και έχεις λάθος αντίδραση. Είναι σκληρό να χάνεις έτσι ένα τουρνουά. Έκανα ένα λάθος. Όλοι κάνουν λάθη. Δεν νιώθω ότι έπρεπε να τελειώσει έτσι το τουρνουά, ειδικά σε έναν τελικό”, τόνισε στο ΒΒC ο 30χρονος Αργεντίνος για το περιστατικό.
