74 νεκροί στην Αίγυπτο!

Ο θρίαμβος της Αλ-Μασρί επί της Αλ-Αχλί στο πρωτάθλημα Αιγύπτου εξελίχθηκε σε τραγωδία καθώς τουλάχιστον 74 άνθρωποι σκοτώθηκαν σε επεισόδια εντός αγωνιστικού χώρου. Σταματούν το ποδόσφαιρο οι παίκτες! Μπλάτερ: "Μαύρη μέρα" (photos & videos)

Ποδοσφαιρική τραγωδία στο Port-Said της Αιγύπτου, καθώς τουλάχιστον 74 άνθρωποι σκοτώθηκαν σε επεισόδια εντός αγωνιστικού χώρου.

Η Αλ-Μασρί νίκησε με 3-1 την Αλ-Αχλί και οι φίλαθλοι της γηπεδούχου μπήκαν στον αγωνιστικό χώρο με την λήξη για να γιορτάσουν τη σπάνια νίκη.

Επίσημα, λίγο μετά τα μεσάνυχτα οι νεκροί έφτασαν τους 74, με έναν από αυτούς να είναι αστυνομικός και οι τραυματίες τους 248 (14 αστυνομικοί).

Λόγω έλλειψης ελέγχου κατά την είσοδο στο γήπεδο, οι οπαδοί είχαν στην κατοχή τους διάφορα αντικείμενα που χρησιμοποίησαν ως όπλα, ενώ η αστυνομία έκανε 47 συλλήψεις (πάντα σύμφωνα με τις επίσημες ανακοινώσεις).

Η Αλ-Αχλί είναι η κορυφαία ομάδα της χώρας, ενώ ιστορικά υπάρχει έχθρα με την Αλ-Μαρσί, ποτέ όμως δεν είχαν σημειωθεί τόσο σοβαρά επεισόδια.

Λόγω πένθους εν συνεχεία αναβλήθηκε η αναμέτρηση της Αλ-Ισμαϊλίγια με την Ζάμαλεκ στο Κάιρο και οι οπαδοί της τελευταίες άναψαν φωτιές στις κερκίδες.

Stop στο ποδόσφαιρο

Ο τερματοφύλακας της Αλ-Αχλί, Σαρίφ Ικραμί, ο οποίος δέχτηκε και αυτός μερικά χτυπήματα, τόνισε με δηλώσεις του πως αυτός και οι συμπαίκτες αποφάσισαν να σταματήσουν το ποδόσφαιρο.

"Πέθαιναν άνθρωποι μπροστά μας. Τελείωσε. Όλοι πήραμε την απόφαση ότι δεν θα ξαναπαίξουμε ποδόσφαιρο. Πως να παίξουμε ποδόσφαιρο όταν 70 άνθρωποι πέθαναν. Δεν μπορώ ούτε να το σκεφτώ", ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά ο Ικραμί.

Και ο προπονητής της Αλ-Μασρί, Καμάλ Αμπού Αλί, τόνισε ότι παραιτείται... "Δεν πρόκειται για το ποδόσφαιρο. Είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερο από αυτό. Πρέπει να ανατραπεί αυτή η κατάσταση".

Μπλάτερ: "Μαύρη μέρα"

Ο πρόεδρος της FIFA, Σεπ Μπλάτερ, δήλωσε: "Είναι μία μαύρη μέρα για το ποδόσφαιρο. Είμαι σοκαρισμένος και θλιμμένος για τον χαμό τόσων ανθρώπων. Τέτοια καταστροφική κατάσταση είναι πέρα από την φαντασία και έπρεπε να συμβεί".
