O ισχυρός άνδρας του ΠΑΟΚ, Ιβάν Σαββίδης έστειλε μήνυμα για τον εορτασμό της 28ης Οκτωβρίου, ωςπρόεδρος της Ομοσπονδίας Ελληνικών Κοινοτήτων Ρωσίας.

Με τοποθέτησή του στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα του, ο πρόεδρος και μεγαλομέτοχος της ΠΑΕ ΠΑΟΚ Ιβάν Σαββίδη, που έδωσε το παρών στην εξέδρα των επισήμων στην στρατιωτική παρέλαση που έγινε στην Θεσσαλονίκη, έστειλε μήνυμα για τον εορτασμό της 28ης Οκτωβρίου, ως Πρόεδρος της Ομοσπονδίας Ελληνικών Κοινοτήτων Ρωσίας, στο οποίο και αναφέρει:

"Αγαπητοί συμπατριώτες!

Χρειάστηκαν 76 χρόνια, αλλά κάθε χρόνο στις 28 Οκτωβρίου, θυμόμαστε τον ηρωισμό των Ελλήνων πατριωτών, που ήταν οι πρώτοι που έριξαν τον φασισμό.

Αυτή η μέρα γεμίζει τις καρδιές μας με ανάμεικτα συναισθήματα - θλίψη, συμπόνια, υπερηφάνεια και γενναιοδωρία.

Η μνήμη αυτών των γεγονότων, αναδεικνύει τις ηθικές αξίες και μας κάνει και πάλι να υποκλιθούμε στους ήρωες που υπερασπίστηκαν την ελευθερία της πατρίδας τους, που έδωσαν στους Έλληνες το δικαίωμα στη ζωή, την εργασία, τη δημιουργικότητα και χαρά.

Αντιστάθηκαν στους Ιταλούς που ήθελαν να εισβάλουν στην Ελλάδα - χιλιάδες ζωές των συμπατριωτών μας χάθηκαν στην προσπάθεια τους να υπερασπιστούν τη γη τους. Όλος ο κόσμος γοητεύτηκε από τον ηρωισμό και την αφοσίωση του ελληνικού λαού. Πάντα θα τιμούμε τους πατριώτες που πολέμησαν ενάντια στο φασισμό και θα θρηνούμε τους πεσόντες.

Θα θυμόμαστε πάντα αυτόν τον τρομερό πόλεμο και θα κάνουμε ό,τι είναι δυνατόν για να αποτραπεί η επανάληψη τέτοιων τραγωδιών.

Αιωνία η μνήμη των θυμάτων".
