Άγγλοι και Γερμανοί θα τιμήσουν τα θύματα των πολέμων

Η Γερμανία όχι απλά επέτρεψε στην Αγγλία να φορέσει περιβραχιόνιο στη μνήμη των θυμάτων του πολέμου, αλλά θα φορέσουν και οι παίκτες της, στο φιλικό που θα διεξαχθεί την Παρασκευή στο "Wembley"

Αγγλία και Γερμανία θα τεθούν αντιμέτωπες σε φιλική αναμέτρηση το βράδυ της Παρασκευής (10/11) στις 22:00, με τους παίκτες και των δύο ομάδων να φορούν το μαύρο περιβραχιόνιο με τις παπαρούνες.

Οι Άγγλοι ζήτησαν να το φορέσουν, όπως έχουν κάνει αρκετές φορές στο παρελθόν, τιμώντας τα θύματα των πολέμων και έπρεπε σε αυτό να συναινέσουν και οι Γερμανοί.

Όχι απλά έδωσαν την έγκρισή τους, αλλά δέχτηκαν να το φορέσουν και οι ίδιοι. Μεγάλη Βρετανία και Γερμανία ήταν ανταγωνιστές στον πρώτο και τον δεύτερο παγκόσμιο πόλεμο, οι οποίοι κόστισαν τη ζωή σε εκατομμύρια ανθρώπους.

Η αγγλική ομοσπονδία ποδοσφαίρου είχε τιμωρηθεί με πρόστιμο πριν έναν χρόνο, όταν η Αγγλία είχε φορέσει τo περιβραχιόνιο στην αναμέτρηση με την Σκωτία, καθώς δεν είχε πάρει άδεια! Βέβαια, το είχε κάνει και στο παρελθόν πολλές φορές, χωρίς άδεια, αλλά δεν υπήρχε τιμωρία.

Ο πρόεδρος της γερμανικής ποδοσφαιρικής ομοσπονδίας, Ράινχαρντ Γκρέντελ, τόνισε: "Καλωσορίζω την απόφαση να επιτραπεί και στις δύο ομάδες να φορέσουν τα περιβραχιόνια με τις παπαρούνες, καθώς δεν έχει να κάνει σε καμία περίπτωση με πολιτική προπαγάνδα! Έχει να κάνει με το να θυμόμαστε τις αξίες που ποδοπατήθηκαν στους παγκόσμιους πολέμους και μέσω του ποδοσφαίρου να τιμήσουμε τον σεβασμό, την ανεκτικότητα και την ανθρωπιά".

Φυσικά δεν θα είναι μόνο τα περιβραχιόνια, αλλά θα μοιραστούν μπλουζάκια και σημαίες στους φιλάθλους, θα υπάρχει γενικά μια τελετή τίμησης της μνήμης των θυμάτων, παρουσία εκπροσώπων όλων των στρατευμάτων και θα κρατηθεί ενός λεπτού σιγή μετά τους εθνικούς ύμνους (πριν την σέντρα).
