Ο Μο Σαλάχ αντικαταστάθηκε στο 30' του τελικού του Champions League ανάμεσα στην Ρεάλ και τη Λίβερπουλ και έβαλε τα κλάματα.
Με δάκρυα στα μάτια αποχώρησε από τον αγωνιστικό χώρο του Ολιμπίνσκι με τη συμπλήρωση 30 λεπτών ο Μο Σαλάχ ο οποίος τραυματίστηκε σε μια σύγκρουση που είχε με τον Σέρχιο Ράμος, ένα λεπτό νωρίτερα, αλλά δεν μπόρεσε να συνεχίσει στην αναμέτρηση.
Ο Σαλάχ συγκρούστηκε με τον Ράμος στο 26' λεπτό και έπεσε άσχημα στο έδαφος δείχνοντας να έχει χτυπήσει στον αριστερό ώμο. Το ιατρικό τιμ της Λίβερπουλ πήγε δίπλα του για να του δώσει τις πρώτες βοήθειες και ο Αιγύπτιος συνέχισε να βρίσκεται στον αγωνιστικό χώρο.

Στην επόμενη φάση όμως έπεσε στο έδαφος και πάλι και δεν μπόρεσε να συνεχίσει με τον Λαλάνα να παίρνει τη θέση του.
Κατά την αποχώρηση του Σαλάχ έκλαιγε και δεν μπορούσε να σταματήσει τα δάκρυα του ενώ ο Ρονάλντο πήγε δίπλα του προκειμένου να τον χτυπήσει φιλικά στον ώμο.
