Συγκεκριμένα από τους 89 φιλόδοξους... ΝΒΑερ, οι 69 προέρχονται από κολέγια των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών και οι υπόλοιποι 20 προέρχονται από χώρες εκτός των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών.

Στα draft συμμετέχει και ο Έλληνας παίκτης του Ηλυσιακού Εμμανουήλ Κουκουλάς.

Ορισμένοι από αυτούς ενδέχεται να την αποσύρουν ως τις 15 Ιουνίου, όταν έχουν και το δικαίωμα. Δεν αποκλείεται ο σέντερ του Ηλυσιακού να είναι ένας από αυτούς.

Σε ότι αφορά τη διαδικασία του ντραφτ οι ομάδες έχουν το δικαίωμα να επιλέξουν (και να αποκτήσουν δηλαδή) τα δικαιώματα ενός παίκτη που γίνεται 23. Οι νεότεροι παίκτες μπορούν να δηλώσουν πρόωρη συμμετοχή, ώστε να μην χρειάζεται να περιμένουν ως το συγκεκριμένο χρονικό όριο.
