Ο Τζάρβις Βαρνέιντο επιστρέφει στην Ευρώπη για να φορέσει τη φανέλα της Σάσαρι. Μονοετές συμβόλαιο υπέγραψε ο πρώην παίκτης των Μαϊάμι Χιτ -μεταξύ άλλων.

Την απόκτηση του Τζάρβις Βαρνέιντο μέχρι το καλοκαίρι του 2016 ανακοίνωσε η Σάσαρι. Η ιταλική ομάδα αναζητούσε στην αγορά τον αντικαταστάτη του Σέιν Λαουάλ (μεταγράφηκε στην Μπαρτσελόνα), με τον ύψους 2μ06 σέντερ να αποτελεί την επιλογή του Ρομέο Σακέτι.

Το νέο μεταγραφικό απόκτημα των "πρασίνων" αγωνίστηκε στη Ρόμα το 2012, πριν μετακομίσει στις ΗΠΑ για λογαριασμό των Μπόστον Σέλτικς.
